미국 북동부 뉴잉글랜드 코네티컷주 출신으로 알려진 여성 예술가 '키라 아인 발스제기(Kira Ayn Varszegi)' 는 남들과 다른 이색 그림으로 관심을 끌고 있다. 남들보다 큰 자신의 가슴에 물감을 묻혀 캔버스에 그림을 그리고 있는 것. 이 그림들 중 인기가 좋은 그림은 한점에 600파운드(약 110만원)가 넘는 가격에 인터넷을 통해 판매된 것으로 알려졌다. 지난 2001년부터 그림을 그리기 시작한 키라는 지금까지 수천점의 그림을 완성해왔다. 키라는 "난 색다른 매개체를 가지고 일하거나 캔버스에 그림을 그릴 새로운 방법을 찾는 것을 좋아한다"며 "내 작품을 통해 감정을 자극하고 삶을 더 아름답게 만들고, 대화를 만들고 가장 중요한 것은 사람들을 미소 짓게 만드는 것이 내 목적"이라고 설명했다. 그녀는 "난 다른 예술가들이 무엇을 하는지, 갤러리가 무엇을 원하는지는 생각하지 않는다"고 덧붙였다.
